How-to: Configure MS Outlook on Windows

OX Connector is used for data synchronisation with a Windows PC. This software synchronizes your mailboxes, calendars, address books, and tasks with Microsoft Outlook. The package includes also OX Drive App, which makes it possible to connect directly to your Flow Connect Drive.

1. Download the OX Connector (enter your email address and password)
   
   
2. Install the OX Connector and you will be asked to enter your access data during the installation:
   
   - Server-URL: https://connect.flow.ch
   - Username: Your email address
   - Password: Your password
   
   
3. After the installation process is complete, you can find the software in your "Programs" folder
   
   

OX Connector installs the following programs on your PC:

• Open-Xchange Updater: Checks your system and then installs the software.
• OXtender: Sets up installed version of Microsoft Outlook for Flow Connect
• OX Drive: Accesses your Flow Connect Drive
  
  

If just the OXtender is needed (terminal server environment) you can download the OXtender installation files separately (enter your email address and password for download access):

• OXtender for Microsoft Office 32 Bit
• OXtender for Microsoft Office 64 Bit

In the OX-Connector it is possible to configure just one Flow Connect Account (Restriction submitted by Open Xchange). To bypass this restriction, the following workarounds can be applied:

1. add a second account via IMAP to the already existing outlook account (recommended)

2. create a second outlook profile on windows system control - create mail (a switch between the both accounts is always required)
