Duplicate Folders in Mail Clients (Apple Mail, Microsoft Outlook)
In the use of diverse mail clients respectively during the connection of diverse mail clients with OX (IMAP folder subscription) it may happen, that double folders will be displayed. To fix this issue, it is important, that the following OX folders should be configured as default folders.
An example with Apple Mail:
1. open the mail application
2. choose the relevant folder
3. click on "Mailbox" in the menu bar
4. choose the option "use this mailbox as"
The OX default folders are:
- Inbox
- Sent Objects
- Drafts
- Trash
- Spam
